Steinberg has updated Cubase again. The latest revision is a small update to version 3.7, which was published back in August. Patches are available for the following products: Cubase VST, Cubase VST Score and Cubase VST/24, although there is also a large installer file that works with any of these versions. You can also update your software directly via the Internet, if you have time and don't want to save the file - an unwise move if you wish to reinstall your system in the future. Demand for the updates has caused Steinberg to limit the number of simultaneous downloads, but it has created multiple sites, each permitting access to 20 users. Other, private sites have started providing the update, but this is frowned upon by Steinberg. Dave Nicholson, Cubase Product Manager, published a warning on The Cubase Mailing List saying, "I see that you have made our Cubase Update available on your server. CCS (Copyright Control Service) search out and take action to remove such download sites that don't have our explicit permission to do so.
